Manoj is a Tollywood actor, born on May 20, 1983 at Chennai, Tamilnadu, India. He is the son of 'Mohan Babu' and 'Nirmala Devi', younger brother of actor 'Vishnu Vardhan Babu', Manoj has an elder sister 'Lakshmi Manchu'. He completed his graduation from Southeastern Oklahoma State University. Manoj starts acting in his childhood in the year 1993. He acted three movies as child artist in his own banner.

Manoj entered in Industry right from his child hood. Manoj played many roles as a child actor in his own banner movies when his father Mohan Babu is shown as a kid in flash back. Manoj got many appreciations for the role he did in the movie 'Punya Bhoomi Naa Deshm' starred by his father. He produced many movies under the banner of Lakshmi Prasanna Pictures.
Manoj started his career as a hero in 2004 with a movie called 'Donga Dongadi' which is remade from a Tamil movie called 'Thiruda Thirudi'. That was an average grosser at BoxOffice. He didn’t have any hits after that. Raju Bhai in 2007 turned out be a below average even though the movie plot and narration was good. His first commercial success came in 2010 with a comedy entertainer 'Bindaas'. The movie received a Nandi Special Jury Award from the Government of Andhra Pradesh for his performance in the movie. He also acted in a musical entertainer, 'Jhummandhi Nadham' directed by 'Raghavender Rao' in the same year. The movie ended up as an average. In the same year, he played a guest role in Vedam alongside Allu Arjun. His performance in the movie won him many accolades. He wrote the lyrics of two songs in 'Mr.Nookayya' and also composed fights for the movie. In 2013 he released a movie 'Potugadu', the Telugu remake of Kannada movie, 'Govindaya Namaha'.
