Mahesh babu entered in film industry in his child hood with the movie Needa in 1979,he entered in telugu film industry because of his father 'Super star krishna'. he acted around 9 movies in his child hood in between 1979 to 1990. After 1990 he stops his movies and continued his education carrer then he entered in 1999 as a hero with 'Rajakumarudu'. Now he hi very popular hero. He is brad ambassador for Thums Up in Andhra Pradesh.

Mahesh Film career stats in his childhood, his real entry as hero in 1999 with 'Rajakumarudu'. His next few films such as 'Yuvaraju' and 'Vamsi' are helped establish Mahesh's career. In 2001, his movie 'Murari' became a breakthrough for Mahesh. In 2003 'okkadu' gives big hit to mahesh, then 'Nijam' got 'Nandi award' in the same year.'Athadu' is a big hit at box office in 2005. In 2006 'Pokiri' has broken old records as per collections concerned and created a wave in Tollywood. It helped the industry a lot to increase business.

The movie 'Khaleja' is a comedy family entertainer film acted by mahesh in 2010. 'Dookudu'(2011),'Businessman'(2012) are blockbuster movies in tollywood and also for box office. In 2013 he acted in a multi starrer movie 'Sitamma vakitla sirimalle chettu' with 'Venkatesh'
