While sriya studied in LSR College Delhi, she got first opportunity to appear in front of the camera for a video shoot. Then she was invited to appear in the music video of Renoo Nathan s Thirakti Kyun Hawa. The video was seen by Ramoji Films. later they offered her the lead role of Neha in their film Ishtam. Later she appeared on member of movies in different languages.
Film Career
The movie Santosham is first commercial success. In 2003 Shriya acted a supporting role in film Tujhe Meri Kasam. She acted in Telugu films Tagore paired with chiranjeevi.It was won International Indian Film Academy Awards. Then acted in Tamil movie debut in Enakku 20 Unakku 18.
Shriya s most memorable movies are Chatrapathi, Mazhai and Sivaji. She made several special appearances, including in the films Devadasu, Munna and Tulasi. Saran made her Hollywood debut in Ashok Amritraj s The Other End of the Line. She will appear in a special appearance in Zilla Ghaziabad and also starting off in an untitled Hindi film alongside Jimmy Shergill. Down south, she has Telugu film, Life is Beautiful, Chandra (Tamil, Kannada) and Ravana Brahma (Telugu) lined up for release.
