S S. Rajamouli is an Indian Telugu film director, and screenwriter. He was born on Oct 10, 1973 at Raichur, Karnataka, India. His father is screenwriter and director K. V. Vijayendra Prasad. Rajamouli grownup at Kovvur, West Godavari District, Andhra Pradesh, India. He graduated from Sir.C.R.R.College, Eluru. He married Rama Rajamouli, the pair having two children SS Karthikeya and SS Mayookha.

Rajamouli started carrer with directing Telugu soap operas on Eenadu Television, under the guidance of K. Raghavendra Rao. The he directed telgu film Student No.1 with Jr. NTR which was a big hit in 2001. Rajamouli take two years time to release second movie Sye, the movie was based on a rugby game.

Career

His next movie is Chatrapathi after that he gave many successful movies like Vikramarkudu, Yamadonga. Rajamoulis biggest successful film is Magadeera, He won the Nandi Award for Best Director and Filmfare Award for Best Director – Telugu for the film. This film also won the National Film Award for Best Choreography.

In 2012 he directed Maryada Ramanna (2010) stared sunil. His film Eega was released in Telugu and Tamil. Baahubali: The Beginning, is called an Indian epic. Releasing in four languages, this movie is believed to be Indias biggest motion picture.
