Dr. Rajasekhar, is an Indian Film actor in Tollywood and Tamil Cinema. He was born on Feb 4, 1962 at Lakshmipuram, Tamil Nadu, India. His parents are 'Sekhar' and 'Andalu Pillai'. Rajashekhar is married his co-star 'Jeevitha'. The couple has two daughters, 'Sivani' and 'Sivatmika'. Dr.Rajesekhar, MBBS and is a qualified medical practitioner. Rajasekhar and his wife joined 'Indian National Congress'. Later he quit congress and joined the newly formed party floated by Y. S. Jaganmohan Reddy( son of ex chief minister of Andhra Pradesh) in 2010. Then 'TDP' and finally they are into 'BJP' now. Rajashekhar made his Telugu film debut in 1985 with 'Vande Mataram'.

Fim career

Rajasekhar entered into films as a villain in Tamil Film 'Pudumai Penn' under the AVM's banner. Later he moved to Telugu and now is a noted hero in the Telugu Film industry. Rajasekhar has appeared in primarily Telugu language films. Several of his films have been dubbed into Hindi and Tamil. His first film, Vandemataram, was released in September 1985. He has acted in more than 50 films in Telugu and Tamil languages. During 1990s, He has acted in successful films like 'allaripriyudu', 'agraham', 'ankusam', 'stationmaster', 'sruthilayalu' etc.He is noted for his Angry man and Cop roles in telugu films.

He also gained fame for his drama films like 'Ma Ayana Bangaram', 'Suryudu', 'Simha Raasi', 'Ma Annaya', 'Deergha Sumagali Bhava', 'Manasunna Maaraju' and 'Gorintaku'. He was also applauded for his performance in romance film 'Allari Priyudu'. He also tried his hand in comedy with 'Na Style Veru' which went well with audience.
